While many consultants use only an expert approach for strategic guidance and business process improvement (BPI), MOMENTUM has found it does not foster the team building, consensus, or ownership required to make BPI projects successful.

MOMENTUM’s approach is a unique blend of the expert and advisory consulting approaches. The advisory approach fosters a coach/mentor relationship between the consultant and the client. Our clients are actively involved in each phase of the project and participate in every step along the way. This creates synergy and encourages team building. Principal of MOMENTUM Consulting, Ms. Palmieri possesses extensive experience and expertise in all aspects of the laboratory services industry. Ms. Palmieri has spent close to 30 years in diagnostics and specifically the anatomic pathology laboratory industries, serving in numerous leadership positions for sales, operations, and executive capacities for both laboratory service and consulting organizations. Recently she served as President of DiagnoCure US, where she was responsible for sales, marketing, quality assurance and overall operations. During her tenure, she developed a new business model and facilitated the sale of the US asset.

Prior to this position, Ms. Palmieri served as the VP and Senior VP of Operations for Laboratory Corporation of America/DIANON Systems. Here she managed 6 locations, and $300M in business. She was a founding member of the leadership team that grew DIANON into a successful $200M national laboratory services company, which was sold to Laboratory Corporation of America for $600M in 2003.

Ms. Palmieri possesses expertise in both executive and operational management. Her skills include strategic business planning, commercialization of products, mergers and acquisitions, productivity, developing and maintaining client-focused partnerships, customer retention, supply chain management/logistics, and hands-on management.

Ms. Palmieri received her BS degree in Medical Technology from Western Connecticut State University and currently resides in Connecticut with her family.
